Green terraces and lifestyle amenities: The Clifford shows the future of premium office spaces

Singapore’s central business district is set to welcome The Clifford at Raffles Place, a premium Grade A office tower blending sustainability, biophilic design, and lifestyle-oriented workspaces. The property is being developed by Singapore Land (SingLand), a leading Singaporean developer.

Rising approximately 220m across 21 floors, the tower offers a net lettable area (NLA) of 405,000ft2, combining 360,000ft2 of office space with 45,000ft2 of retail and food and beverage (F&B) amenities. The building’s height and design offer sweeping views of Marina Bay and the city skyline, enhancing the workplace experience.

Biophilic design and flexible office workspaces

The Clifford features two landscaped sky terraces spanning 28,000ft2, providing open-air spaces for employees and visitors. A 2,000ft2 multi-purpose hall accommodates large meetings, conferences, and events.

Designed by UK-based PLP Architecture, the project integrates wellness-centric amenities, flexible office layouts adaptable to open-plan, co-working, or team-based strategies, and a hospitality-led workplace ecosystem, including dedicated drop-offs, end-of-trip facilities, and curated public art.

Triple Platinum sustainability credentials for office buildings

The development will be Singapore’s first commercial office building in Raffles Place to achieve triple Platinum certifications from BCA Green Mark, LEED, and the International WELL Building Institute.

For the BCA Green Mark Platinum, The Clifford is expected to reach Super Low Energy status, delivering more than 40% energy savings compared to conventional office buildings, reflecting rising demand for green-certified premium office spaces.

Strategically located in the heart of Raffles Place, The Clifford offers dual-downtown connectivity, linking both Raffles Place and Marina Bay financial districts. It features a direct underground link to Raffles Place MRT station and a second-storey bridge to Marina Bay waterfront, enhancing access for tenants and visitors.
